Hi all. This is Jennifer. The Lusher family would like to thank every single person who has reached out to ask how they can help during such a stressful time.

The prayers and generosity have been a blessing. Now that we have a better idea going forward of what to expect,,, it’s time to give.

Bobby has been in Cedar Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles 11 days and is expected to be there for a couple of months. After several tests, scans, mri’s, and biopsies, their fears became reality. He has severe clotting in both legs and stage 3 kidney cancer. In the next couple of weeks, after the clotting is controlled, he will have extensive surgery to remove the cancer. There is no other alternative to keep Bobby here fighting the good fight with his family and specifically his wife who is also battling cancer.

The requirement for such a surgery and recovery, and chemo following, will require him to be hospitalized for a long while and rehabilitation requiring them to stay close. The recommendation is they stay close to the hospital for at least a couple of months.

This is where the go fund me comes in. Now that both Ann and Bobby are out of work and will be for a number of months they need help! This hard working and generous couple didn’t want to set up a go fund me. However as I’ve been lovingly bombarded with people asking “How can I help” This is it. Please do anything you can because every little bit helps.

Update!

After 18 long days in the hospital Bobby has gained enough strength for the surgery to start the process of eradicating this awful cancer. This is going to happen TOMORROW! 8/7

The go-fund me has been such an incredible blessing to this family, and they all want you to know how beyond grateful they are for the prayers, support, and love shown during this time! We truly do have an amazing community.

Ann has been staying bedside with Bobby most of the time. When she gets overly exhausted she gets a hotel and recently got lined up with a room in VA house. Going forward she will find an Air bnb for her and the boys to escape to for rest and personal recovery! Ann had her chemo treatment Tuesday and is trying to push through the fog to be there for him! She is such a warrior!! The boys have been able to take off work because of the financial support. Today she is able to fly in Robby from Phoenix ! They could not do this without all of you, so thank you so so much!

Please keep them in prayer tomorrow!

It’s hard to imagine and find ANY fairness or sense to any of this for this family that I love so dearly!! So sitting in the “why God” I know it’s because this family is NEEDED to bring others to Christ. When we kneel in prayer (and maybe it’s the first time) God is using what the Devil meant to devour this family as a way to Show Gods grace and mercy!! So please please show the power of prayer and join us in battle
