One puppy, two bikes, and 8,000 km ahead: Help us bring Lulú home!

Hi, we are Jordi and Barbara.

In Kazakhstan, in the middle of our bicycle journey around the world, we found Lulú, a tiny two-month-old puppy who had been hit by a car. She was hurt, alone, and with no one to care for her. We couldn’t leave her behind: we took her to a vet only to discover that her pelvis and femur bone have been broken and surgery is need it urgently.

We want to officially adopt her and give her a real home, traveling together by bicycle all the way back to Europe. But to make it happen, we need your help.

Why are we asking for help?

We want Lulú to have a safe life and to come home with us by meeting all legal and veterinary requirements.

To adopt her and take her to Europe, we must complete several mandatory steps.

First is Lulu surgery and recovery. Next all the necessary vaccines including rabies.

Also, since there is no reliable ferry across the Caspian Sea, we will need to fly from Kazakhstan to Georgia with an approved pet carrier.

In Georgia, we must wait 3 months until her antibody test is valid, which means renting an apartment and covering her care during that time.

How will your help be used?

Surgery, hospital stay and after care 600e

Official veterinary certificate in Georgia: €30

Bike trailer so she can travel safely: €250

Flight (pet fee + carrier): €140

Accommodation in Georgia for 3 months: €1,450

Safety buffer for unexpected costs & fees: €650

Total goal: €3,500

(If we raise more than the goal, we’ll donate it to a local animal shelter).

Transparency

We promise to publish invoices, receipts, and weekly updates: vaccines, test results, the flight, the accommodation, and of course, photos and videos of Lulú learning to travel in her trailer.

Un cachorro, dos bicis y 8.000 km por delante: ¡ayúdanos a llevar a Lulú a casa!

Hola, somos Jordi y Barbara. En Kazajistán, en medio de nuestro viaje en bicicleta alrededor del mundo, encontramos a Lulu, una cachorrita de apenas dos meses que había sido atropellada. Estaba herida, sola y sin nadie que la cuidara. No pudimos dejarla atrás: la llevamos al veterinario y desde entonces nos acompaña en esta gran aventura.

Lulu tiene fracturas en el fémur y la pelvis y necesita una operación urgente para poder caminar y tener una vida normal. La cirugía cuesta 600 €, un gasto que no teníamos previsto y que se suma a todos los trámites necesarios para que podamos adoptarla y llevarla de forma legal y segura hasta Europa.

Queremos que Lulú tenga una vida segura y un verdadero hogar junto a nosotros, viajando en bicicleta hasta Europa. Pero para lograrlo necesitamos la ayuda de todos.

¿En qué usaremos vuestra ayuda?

Operación urgente (fémur y pelvis): 600 €

Veterinario inicial (vacunas, controles): 200 €

Título de rabia + laboratorio oficial: 180 €

Certificado veterinario oficial en Georgia: 30 €

Remolque para viajar segura en la bici: 250 €

Vuelo (tasa de mascota + transportín homologado): 140 €

Alojamiento 3 meses en Georgia: 1.450 €

Colchón para imprevistos y comisiones: 650 €

(Si superamos la meta, lo donaremos a un refugio local de animales).

Transparencia

Nos comprometemos a publicar facturas, recibos y actualizaciones semanales: de la operación, vacunas, resultados del análisis, el vuelo, el alojamiento y, por supuesto, fotos y vídeos de Lulú aprendiendo a viajar en remolque.
