Carla's Fundraiser

In the early hours of August 12, 2014, Carla Ross, my dear and very close friend received the horrible news that her mother, grandmother, and grandfather, died in a tragic house fire.  It is suspected the fire was caused when a tree approximately 30 feet from the house was struck by lightening and fell onto the house.  Her mother and grandmother tried unsuccessfully to escape, while trying to get the grandfather who was bed-ridden out of the house.

Carla is very close to her family so this news was nothing short of crippling, not just to her, but for all those who love her and knew the bond she shared with her family.  

As many of you may know Carla is more than just a friend to me, she is family!  This is my attempt to share her story with those that may be willing to help her family. The goal of this fundraiser is to ensure that she and her daughter will have one less thing to worry about, while they travel to Atlanta to lay their beloved family members to rest.  Any amount will suffice as it will allow Carla and her family to remain focused on family and love without the added stress of financial burdens not covered by insurance(s).
