To know her is to love her- and I'm talking about Annette , owner of the Tourist Inn. For 14 years, she has been running her business, all the while supporting the community. Just one look at her Facebook page and you will see all of the benefits she holds at the TI to support veterans, children battling life threatening illness and many other causes that she holds dear to her heart.
On Friday August 31st the Tourist Inn was flooded due to a freak flash flood. Not only did major damage occur to the basement where the coolers are located, but auction items were lost for her upcoming benefit. Even worse, is the apartments that are owned by the Tourist Inn that were destroyed by the flood. Tenants in these apartments have been left with nothing. Many of these tenants have not had an easy way of life, including one 20 year old who has battled cancer multiple times, and is trying to put herself through college. These donations will go a long way in helping everyone affected get back on their feet. Please consider donating.
