Love and Support for Parker Chalmers

Dear Friends and Family,

It is with the heaviest of hearts that Marissa, Jason, and I write this, something that we  could never have fathomed needing to do. Our dear friend, Parker Jamison Chalmers, has left this world. 

Parker suffered an episode of cardiac arrest on Thursday morning, and while doctors tried to revive and treat him, he was apparently without oxygen for too long. His organs failed, and he passed peacefully and without pain.

We have received an enormous outpouring of love and offers of help from so many. At this time we ask that you send his mother Cynthia, his father Chip, and his brother Joe, all of your love and strength. We are also asking, if you can, to make a donation that will help with any medical and funeral costs that might be incurred. More information about a memorial will be provided soon. 

As you all know, Parker was truly a special light in this world. There aren't sufficient words to describe the ways in which he touched all of us and made our lives better. He embodied what it meant to be loving, kind, and caring, and I don't think he ever met a person that didn't love him back. He was hilarious, witty, amazing at karaoke, brilliant at his job, and exuded a sense of confidence that was contagious. He loved and was loved by so many--from St. Paul's, to Notre Dame, to Long  Beach.  His departure leaves us all stunned and devastated, and this world is less bright without him.

The love for Park is palpable, and we are so grateful for the relief this fund will bring. Funds will go towards helping his family with medical bills and memorial costs, as well as living expenses and will go directly to his family.]
