LOCAL DANCERS AT THE IDO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

A group of local talented dancers aged 9-17 years old from Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire are fundraising after being selected to dance for Team GB at the IDO World Championships.

Fifteen girls from a local community dance academy, SW Dance are preparing to travel to the Czech Republic in June to take part in the IDO World Disco and Disco Freestyle Championships, a competition organised by the International Dance Organisation.

This local community group are appealing for the public’s assistance to help cover their costs of travel, accommodation, kit and entry fees amongst other things to ensure they can fulfil their dream and take part in the competition.

They will be working hard on new routines from now until June when the World Championships start and are hoping that with your help it will get a group of local girls to dance on the World stage.
