Guelph House Fire - Liu Family
Donation protected
On Tuesday, March 13, 2018, a local family in Guelph underwent immense tragedy as their home burst into flames.
Fortunately, the Liu family managed to react and escaped the fire, remaining physically safe, however, property damages, and loss of many of their belongings has taken its toll. The family consists of Mr. and Mrs. Liu, and their 3 children (Shirley, Jeffrey, and Carolyn).
An emerging challenge for Mr. and Mrs. Liu will be to provide for their children while maintaining their business. Mr. and Mrs. Liu are entrepreneurs and simply cannot run their business while simultaneously handling a situation of this intensity. Additionally, 2 of their 3 children are about to be or are currently enrolled in post-secondary education (University), which comes with costly tuition-fees.
The Liu family is staying at a hotel for the time being, and have a long road ahead of themselves in order to fully recover. Please consider donating in order to assist in the recovery process. We will also be accepting donations in the form of clothing, housing goods, etc at 78 Drone Crescent (Feel free to leave on the front porch).
