Let’s Create the Modern Mystery School Movie

Exciting news!

We are making a movie! A movie about the Modern Mystery School!

Hi, I am Ruthie Odom, Guide and Healer with the Modern Mystery School. Myself and Logan Lepper, Photographer and Film Maker, as well as a fellow Ritual Master and Healer, have teamed together to film a documentary.

We plan to make a documentary highlighting my story, the stories of many initiates, and the Modern Mystery School as an organization. I want to showcase the depth and reach of the school and how this work changes lives. It’s not our intention to shoot a promotional video. It is our intention to create a piece of art that is beautiful, professional, and true. A film that showcases the good and beauty of our school and how we live this magick. What I imagine this film to look like would be a bridge between the school and its leadership to the people transforming their personal communities through this work.

I personally have gone through hell and back to heal a life of pain, depression, and anxiety. And I stand before you now living my best life! Living a life of joy, which I could not have accessed without the teachings of the Modern Mystery School and fearless leadership of Founder Gudni Gudnason, Ipsissimus Dave Lanyon, and Ipsissimus Hideto Nakagome! It is time to share my story, and the story of the many people whose lives have been forever changed through this lineage.

So here we are! Ready to make a film! Our plan is to travel, collect interviews, film initiates within their communities and at INT programs!

And we need your help!!

Making a movie requires a lot of time, the right team, travel expenses, equipment costs, and post-production expenses. Your donations will be going towards the development fund to get this film on its feet.

We will be updating donors on the current stages of the film. Right now we are hiring the right team. We have received INT’s support. We are creating the story. We are planning our travel/shooting locations. Lots more to come!
