Laurie’s Third Brain Surgery
Donation protected
My mother, Laurie, was diagnosed in 2008 with Cavernous Angiomas. Shortly after her diagnosis, she had her first frontal lobe brain surgery in April of 2008 to remove and stop the hemorrhage. After Months of recovery and years clean MRI’s, she was yet again diagnosed with another hemorrhage in February of 2016. This hemmorrhage caused her to undergo her second brain surgery, in her frontal lobe, in March of 2016. Unfortunately, after expericing some side effects this past February and getting a MRI, she learned that there’s a new hemorrhage on her brain stem. After meeting with her neurologist on March 13, 2018, it was decided that it is in her best interest to have another surgery. She’s now undergoing her third brain surgery Friday, March 16, 2018. My mom isn’t one to ask people for help other than prayers so I’m asking for her. Because of the location on her brain stem, it’s expected that she will be out of work for three-four months. On top of bills, brain surgery comes at quite the expense. Any donations made will go to help her pay bills and medical expenses while she’s recovering. If you’re unable to make a donation, please pray for my mom and send good vibes her way!
