LAST CARAVEL REPLICA NINA
MY NAME IS NINA. I am the last caravel replica of the Columbus Fleet to survive the sail from Spain in 1992, and my berth is in Corpus Christi, Texas. My sisters, PINTA and SANTA MARIA, died in August, 2014, and rest in the local landfill.
The death bells now toll for me since I need a new bottom job to stay afloat, and a new main deck to allow you access to go back with me in time to the 15th century.
Your generous donations are tax deductible and go 100% to my restoration through the Columbus Sailing Association, a 501(c)3 charitable foundation, who are my volunteer crew, caretakers, and educators who have known me, loved me, and preserved me for over 25 years.
My time grows very short, and I fear the same fate of my sisters, because I still have lessons to teach and stories to tell!!!
