Hi,
We work as Diagnostic Medical Sonographers and have sadly found out one of our friend & coworkers' son has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Desmoplastic Small Round Cell tumor. This sarcoma primarily affects children & young adults, especially males. The tumors are usually found in the peritoneum inside the abdomen & pelvis.
Lana has worked for BRRH for many years & we all of course have become family. She is always there at anytime to help, whether its ultrasound related or not. Her son, Daniyel (22) was diagnosed with this very rare & agressive sarcoma. He now has 2 large tumors and is getting ready to start chemotherapy to try to shrink them before they can operate.
We are all heart broken hearing this news.
Lana & Daniyel are about to start the fight of his life & we want to help.
So we have decided to put our heads together to see what we can do. We want Lana to be able to focus her love & energy to get him healthy again. We know she will not be able to bring in her income as she will be bedside caring for him. All funds will go towards them being able to pay their bills and continue to care for her son & family.
