L.A. TO MONTREAL RESCUE MISSION

L.A. shelters and rescues are in a big crisis. Thousands of amazing dogs, including puppies have been euthanized in shelters so far this year and the numbers are not slowing down. Rescues are FULL, fosters are rare to find, it’s an absolute disaster. In shelters, dogs are not getting out of their kennels daily sometimes once every 2 weeks for a few minutes if that simply for lack of staff and volunteers. It’s absolutely gut wrenching and heartbreaking.

We're on a mission to rescue euthanasia listed and at risk deserving dogs in high risk shelters in Los Angeles and county to bring them safely to new lives in Montreal. This journey isn’t just about miles — it’s about giving these dogs the second chance they were never going to get.

We have partnered with A Purposeful Rescue, MCP Rescue LA and other amazing individuals in Los Angeles to make this happen. We have transport reserved to leave LA on June 24th.

We’ve done successful missions before and you all played a huge part in it.

But this time, the costs are higher than ever. With the exchange of currency, vetting costs, emergencies and everything that has gone up in our economy this is the base of what the mission will cost for 17 dogs. We are hoping to get more out if more donations come in. We also had a generous “fairy godmother” in L.A. who has paid for the transport part, who wishes to remain anonymous.

Thanks to this incredible community, we’ve pulled off the impossible and we are hoping to make this happen again.
