Kristin & Nikki's Adoption Fund

Nikki and I have always dreamed of being parents and feel now is the perfect time to make this dream a reality. For the last year, we have had an amazing experience of being a foster parent to school aged child. We have enjoyed the time we have spent with our foster child and it has shown us that we love being parents and we want a forever kid. We have been very blessed to spend a lot of time doing activities with our child. Our foster child has enjoyed going to Mallard’s games, the aquarium in Chicago, the Children’s Museum, WWE wrestling live, hiking on Lake Kegonsa and throughout Madison, a Green Bay Packer’s game, swimming lessons, summer camp, and flag football. We are excited to have a kid to create new memories with us.

The financial burden of adoption can cost between $25,000.00 and $30,000.00. We are hopeful that our fundraising efforts will alleviate the financial strain of adoption. The funds raised by our gofundme fundraiser will go towards adoption fees, legal fees, and any travel expenses incurred if we have to go out of state.

Many people have asked us why we just do not have a child ourselves. If it were that simple, we would. I have stage IV endometriosis and had to have a hysterectomy in spring of 2014. Nikki also has medical conditions which make it not possible for her to have a baby either.  I have ties to adoption as I was adopted when I was a baby. I have always wanted to adopt a baby and hope that the day we have our own child will come soon.
