Help Humphrey Walk Again After a Stroke
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
I am reaching out with a heartfelt plea for support on behalf of Humphrey Miller, a beloved friend, father, and community member whose life took an unexpected and devastating turn in November 2023. Humphrey suffered a severe ischemic cerebrovascular disease (stroke), leaving him with right-side hemiparesis—a condition that has robbed him of mobility, independence, and the ability to care for himself as he once did.
Before the stroke, Humphrey was an active and hardworking individual, always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved spending time outdoors, driving to visit loved ones, and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. Now, he is confined to a rigorous schedule of medical treatments, including physical therapy, speech therapy, and daily rehabilitation sessions to regain even the most basic movements.
His journey to recovery has been filled with immense challenges. Since his first hospital admission on November 24, 2023, he has required round-the-clock care, mobility assistance, and extensive physical therapy to regain function in his right arm and leg. Doctors have given an estimated recovery timeline of 12+ weeks, but the road ahead remains uncertain, depending on how his body responds to therapy.
Humphrey’s current limitations prevent him from working, driving, or even standing for extended periods. The cost of his ongoing treatment, rehabilitation, medications, and assistive devices is overwhelming. His family is doing everything possible, but the financial burden is growing daily.
We are humbly asking for your support. Any donation, big or small, will go directly towards:
• Medical bills and hospital expenses
• Intensive physical therapy sessions
• Mobility aids (walker, braces, and rehabilitation equipment)
• Daily living expenses as he is unable to work
Humphrey is fighting every day to regain his strength and independence. His spirit is strong, but he needs our help to continue this battle. If you are unable to donate, we completely understand—your prayers, shares, and words of encouragement mean the world to us.
Thank you for taking the time to read Humphrey’s story. With your support, we believe he can reclaim his life and walk again.
With gratitude,
Iana Graham
