Kisiizi Good Shepherd Orphanage

Dear friends,
My name is Simon Akatwijuka. I am the founder and director of the Kisiizi Good Shepherd Orphanage located in the Mukacudezi Village, Kisiizi, Nyarushanje Sub County, RukungiriDistrict in southern Uganda.
Kisiizi Orphanage was established in January, 2011 with 20 orphans. Today in December 2015 we provide care for 150 children who have lost one or both parents due to death from HIV/AIDS, abandonment by mothers under age 16 years or are living in poverty with parents with no income.
These children have survived many traumatic experiences. In spite of this, they are adjusting,  eager to learn and hope for a bright future and higher quailty of life. Our dedicated teachers work for no pay as volunteers.
We are in the process of constructing a new classroom building for our children and would greatly appreciate your financial support. Any amount large or small will help us give these children a brighter future and a proper learning environment.
Thank you so much for caring and being a part of our family and supporters. I hope we can count on you for for continued support and consider sponsoring one of our orphans.
God bless you and please share our mission and project with your friends, relatives and neighbors. Look for me on facebook for regular updates and progress reports. Please visit our website at http://www.kisiizigoodshepherdorphanage.weebly.com and do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.  Look for us on Facebook at Kisiizi Good Shepherd Orphanage Care Project.

Sincerely,
Simon Akatwijuka, Founder/Director

P.S. Many thanks goes out to our fundraising partner Daniel E. Moore. He is a political activist and USAF Military veteran who is now a humanitarian committed to social justice and advancing the cause of peace and nuclear disarmament. In addition to our gofundme campaign, he is giving us a generous portion of the revenue from the sale of his CD "Time to Play Politics" that will benefit the Kisiizi Orphanage longterm sustainability needs.
