Hello, I'm Quinsetta, and I'm reaching out for support in a time of great need. Recently, my mother went through a traumatic experience during a routine traffic stop. Despite being respectful and compliant throughout the encounter, she suffered severe injuries, including a fractured eye socket, stitches to her stomach and face, and the loss of two teeth.

The incident started with an accusation that the vehicle smelled like marijuana, which my mother calmly denied. She never raised her voice or showed any disrespect to the officers, yet the situation escalated, resulting in unnecessary and excessive force being used. Contrary to their claims, video footage and a witness on the scene indicate that she did not attempt to flee.

To add to our concerns, my mother was not read her Miranda rights after the arrest or before questioning began. As we navigate the legal process and face mounting medical and dental bills, we are seeking support from our community and beyond. We humbly ask for any donations towards covering her medical expenses, legal representation, and therapy. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in our pursuit of justice and recovery.
