See that loveable goofball in the photo? That's Killian. He lives with his family in a little town called Fenelton in Butler County, PA. He’s full of energy and always smiling, especially when he’s playing video games, jamming to Metallica, or spending time with his animals. Killian is a bright, growing boy with a heart of gold who loves hanging out with his mom, dad, and little brother.
Killian has cancer.
At the end of August, doctors discovered Killian had a 4 centimeter mass at the back of his skull. Surgery followed wherein doctors placed a shunt and feeding tube, leaving Killian unable to speak and virtually immobile.
Soon thereafter, Killian was moved from Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh to Children's Hospital in Philadelphia for Proton therapy. He will remain in Philadelphia for 5-6 weeks with his parents.
In the months to come, they hope to return to Pittsburgh to begin rehabilitation (pending doctor approval). Then it's on to Chemotherapy and more rehabilitation. They are hoping he will have a break around the holidays, but that is not set in stone.
He is working hard and making progress.
This diagnosis has rocked Killian and his family's entire world. But, you know what that means? Bad news for cancer.
With your support, we can stand by Killian and his family, giving them the strength and resources they need to fight and beat this. Let’s come together to help them conquer cancer and ensure Killian keeps shining his light for years to come.
Let’s help Killian rise and conquer!
All donations will be utilized to fund treatment and travel for treatment. All donations benefit Killian and his family directly.
