Arlene Kovash and Judy Guida are raising $5,000 for the purchase of a school building on 1.25 acre for a preschool for orphaned and highly vulnerable children ages 3 to 6 years old. This preschool program provides a kindergarten education for 85 children and provides one nutritious meal per day.

Currently the school is located in the building pictured and they now have the opportunity to purchase the building and land for only $5000, an extremely large amount in Tanzania but so doable for us if we pull together. This is a two room building with enough land to create a play area for the children.

The head teacher and director Sadick Steven is a friend who has been teaching and running this preschool for 9 years and is committed to helping children in extreme poverty. After their kindergarten instruction Sadick works toward finding sponsors who can help with school fees and food so that the children can have a primary education.
