Please Support Kennedy During This Time of Need

We are reaching out to you today to share the inspiring yet heartbreaking story of Kennedy, a talented, lighthearted, charismatic musician an artist whose life took an unexpected turn. Kennedy is a dedicated musician with a contagious smile that lights up any room! He plays music at a local church and at different gigs to make ends meet. His partner who is a teacher along with their precious 12-month-old daughter, his beautiful 7-year-old daughter and their two loving dogs have been his pillars of support. However, a devastating incident changed everything for this young family after Kennedy's life was forever altered.

Without second thought for his own safety, Kennedy put his life on the line to protect his community. Just a few weeks ago, a senseless act of violence happened around 4pm in broad daylight. Our friend and father of two was tragically shot in the neck as he heroically interrupted a car break-in, which has resulted in him having a broken neck and other critical injuries. It is a true miracle he is alive!! But now he finds himself on a ventilator, fighting for his recovery, and is in desperate need of our assistance.

Kennedy’s dedication to his family, his community, and his passion for music is truly inspiring. As a musician for the church, he has been a source of joy and solace for so many, using his talents to spread love and healing through melodies. However, his selflessness led to life-threatening injuries. As a result, Kennedy has been in ICU since May 15th, he is unable to work or provide for his family during this challenging time. This family is facing an uphill battle and we are humbly requesting your support to help them during this difficult and devastating time.

The road to recovery will be long and arduous journey. Kennedy’s partner, an elementary school teacher and new mother, is trying her best to manage their living costs. Medical bills and the additional care required for ongoing recovery is becoming overwhelming. They are both hardworking individuals, dedicated to their professions and providing a loving environment for their daughter, but they simply cannot shoulder this burden alone. They desperately need our support to ensure they can focus on healing and rebuilding their lives at this time.
