Kellie Kills Breast Cancer

Our sweet friend and fellow Cath Lab colleague has been faced with the challenging diagnosis of Breast Cancer.  A lump was noted in her left breast and after getting it checked out, the biopsy revealed that she has Stage 1 breast cancer.  Fortunately at this point, it is slow growing and has not invaded her lymph nodes.  She will be undergoing a skin-saving mastectomy in March.  At that point, her medical team will decide if chemotherapy will needed. To recover from surgery, she will need to be out of work for a minimum of 6-8 weeks.  With upcoming procedures and potential treatment plans, financial strain is inevitable.  Please donate to try and help during this time of need.  Anything helps!  There will also be a CTO bank for our fellow UVM employees if you are interested in donating time off.

Kellie and her husband Josh of 15 years are staying positive for themselves and their two beautiful, younger children, Athena (age 12 ) and Caleb (age 9).  They have an incredible attitude and outlook towards beating this!
