Keep us together- being moved to another neonatal unit

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Mel. After a hard pregnancy, where I PPROM'D at 18+1 weeks. I gave birth to Milo at Leicester royal infirmary at 26+1 weeks, on Friday 29th march at 3.47pm. Milo was originally ventilated at birth but has since come down from ventilator to CPAP and finally to high flow and has been making such progress with feeding with breast milk through an NG tube and putting on weight. (Originally 1lb 15oz, now 2lb 3oz). Amazingly
Milo is doing so well he only needs level 2 Neonatal care and Leicester royal infirmary is level 3 and therefore he is being moved further away from us as his family.

I have requested accomodation from the hospital he is being sent too, which is now confirmed as derby royal. However they have no rooms available and hotels are fairly expensive, last night I slept on a chair next to his bed and will do the same again if I have too but I would really like to have a place close by to sleep and do not think I could do being in a completely different city. Milo also has an older brother, William who is 7.

I never expected to have a premature baby, no one does and this has been such a difficult and lonely experience.

I didn't want to have to do this but unfortunately I'm left with no other option but to ask for help of everyone else. £80 will only cover one night in a hotel nearby. Even if you can't donate please share and help us stay nearby and together.
