Keep Ira Smiling: Fund His Essential Diabetes Pods

Hello, I am the mom of this adorable little boy, Ira. Ira has a personality that lights up the room when he walks in. I never thought we would be in this position for a second time, but here we are again.

Ira was diagnosed with Autism in January of 2021, and 6 months later, he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. The first 6 months of his diabetic journey were hard, and the sensory input of needle sticks made him stop eating. Luckily, I was able to get him on the Omnipod Dash pump, and we have been thriving ever since.

However, once again, we are at a stalemate with the insurance company, and they are refusing to cover the Omnipod 5 pods we use. So, we will have to pay $3,899.87 for a year's worth of pods. As a family of 7, this is quite the financial hardship.
