Keep Hope Alive for Joshua, Silvia and Núria
Donation protected
Hello dear friends,
We’re reaching out with full and humble hearts. As many of you know, Silvia and I are both self-employed, and we’ve done our best to plan and save for Núria’s arrival. We had budgeted carefully for pregnancy, delivery, and maternity leave, but life had other plans.
Saturday morning, June 7th, Silvia was rushed to the hospital with dangerously high blood pressure and other complications. She was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia, and on Monday, June 9th, our baby girl Núria had to be delivered at just 25 weeks, weighing 1lb 4oz.
She is strong—just like her mama—and is already fighting hard in the NICU. Silvia is recovering well, but we’re now facing a much longer and more complex road than we ever anticipated. Núria is expected to be in the NICU for 3-4 months, and Silvia will need extra recovery time before she can return to work.
This situation is far beyond anything we could have prepared for financially. Between the unexpected hospital stays, extended time away from work, and all that goes into helping Núria thrive during and after her NICU journey, we’re asking for help.
If you feel led to support us, whether financially or through sharing this page, we are deeply grateful. Every donation goes directly toward medical bills, living expenses during this difficult season, and giving our baby girl the best possible start.
Thank you for your love, prayers, and support—we feel them every single day.
With love and gratitude,
Joshua, Silvia, and Núria
