Ke'asha Phillips Golf Fundraiser

My name is Ke’asha Phillips, and I am a professional golfer. My dream and goal has always been to play on the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) tour. I am raising money for my upcoming season (2024). I have been dedicated to this sport since the age of eight. As an African American female, I have overcome many obstacles. I continue to strive to be a strong, successful, and respectable female athlete.

I graduated from Owensboro High School in 2017, where I played on the varsity golf team from 4th - 12th grade. I won several junior golf tournaments, including the 2015 Kentucky Junior Amateur Championship. I also won the 2020 Kentucky Women’s Stroke Play Championship and the 2022 Kentucky Women’s Open Championship. I was the 2012 Kidcentric Player of the Year, and I represented Kentucky in the State Team Championship. I won the second region championship as a junior and senior. I finished third in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association State Golf Tournament my senior year. In addition, I finished in the top 10 in three American Junior Golf Association events.

I earned a golf scholarship to Xavier University where I played four successful years on the Women’s Golf Team. I graduated from Xavier University in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in social work. While pursuing my Master of Social Work degree at Akron University, I played one year on the Women’s Golf Team while maintaining a 3.0 GPA. I am involved with Sisterhood of African American Students (SAAS). While attending Xavier University, I was a member of the choir and the Black Student Association. Also, I spent time volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club, Matthew 25 Ministries, American Cancer Society, and First Tee of Cincinnati and Northern KY. I am a member of Tenth Street Missionary Baptist Church in Owensboro, Kentucky, where I am active in the adult choir.

I have the talent, I just need help funding my travel costs to compete at an elite level. This is where you come in! I am asking for donations and/or ongoing sponsorship to help me achieve my goals. I would hate to miss out on my dreams and be held back just because I do not have the necessary funding. Please carefully consider helping me on my quest to become a professional golfer.

All proceeds of this fundraiser go directly to the costs involved in travel, accommodation, entry fees, equipment and training. I am very thankful for your support, and no donation is too small.
