Cancer fight for Kat Robinson - making memories

Late September 2023 my sister Kat and I ended up in the hospital, she had a severe headache that in 2h turned in to her being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer with more tumours that they could count. Kat is 33. She's a hard nut, driven, ambitious, hard working, and I know she will hate me for this but she is also a loving person with a big heart.

Kat’s daughter Paige (my niece) is 11 years old. When Paige was told about mummy’s cancer, there were tears, but the girl stayed strong and is pushing through. Paige is scared she won’t get a chance to create new memories with her mummy with whatever time they have left.

That’s why we need your help.

This fundraiser aims to raise as much money as possible for Paige and Kat to make one of their biggest dreams come true.

We don't know how long Kat has, she's been given a timeline which is "more than a year”.

The first scan in September showed 7 tumours in her brain and second scan, 3 weeks later, showed a 33% increase in size and 10 tumours. It’s aggressive, fast, and we are fighting it. We have had an update of the scan start of January and cancer has reduced by 50% which is giving Kat a better quality of life for now. However, the position she is in with cancer is still the same - one of the mutations is not treatable and both not curable. Effects of the treatment will wear off. So really, it’s a waiting game.

**update: as per doctors advice, Kat will not be traveling further than Europe. All the funds raised will be put towards any experiences or travel for her and Paige.
