Help us let Karen rest. Ayúdanos a dejar a Karen descansar

On September 10th, Karen Tejeda lost her battle against glioblastoma. She fought incredibly hard and did everything she could so that she could stay with her family. Our family is now trying to process the impact of her loss as well as give her a proper funeral service. Along with that, we are trying to send her body back to Honduras so that her mother can see her one last time. This process has been incredibly hard on all of us, and we are trying to make ends meet and bring everyone peace. We are trying to keep costs down but with anything like this, a great amount of money is still needed. We are asking anyone who can contribute, even if it’s just a small amount, to help us put her to rest at last. Anything that is not used for the funeral will be given to her two young children who now need our support more than ever. With the loss of their mother, they have been affected the most out of anyone in our family and we are trying the best we can to be there for them both emotionally and financially. Nothing will ever heal the pain of losing her but if anyone is able to provide any amount of support then we will be eternally grateful.

El 10 de septiembre, Karen Tejeda perdió su lucha contra el cáncer cerebral, glioblastoma. Ella lucho con todo lo que tenía e hizo todo lo que pudo para quedarse con su familia. Nuestra familia ahora está tratando de procesar el impacto de su pérdida y brindarle un servicio funerario adecuado. Junto a eso, estamos tratando de enviar su cuerpo de regreso a Honduras para que su madre la pueda ver una vez más. Este proceso ha sido muy dificil para todos nosotros y estamos intentando de economizar y traerle paz a todos. Queremos mantener los gastos bajo, pero como toda situación así, una gran cantidad de dinero se ocupa todavía. Les estamos pidiendo a todos los que puedan ayudar, aunque solo sea una pequeña cantidad, que nos ayudan a dejarla descansar en paz. Todo lo que no se use para el funeral se le dará a sus dos pequeños hijos que ahora necesitan nuestra ayuda más que nunca. Con la pérdida de su madre, ellos han sido los mas afectados en este momento y estamos tratando lo más que podemos a estar allí para ellos tanto emocional como financieramente. Nada quitara el dolor de perderla, pero si alguien puede proveer un poco de ayuda, le agradeceremos eternamente.
