Support Ann's Son's Journey to Self-Sufficiency

My name is Ann Beaver-Singletary, and I am doing this Gofundme on behalf of my son, Moses. He is 26 years old and has been diagnosed with Aspergers/Autism, Anxiety, and ADD. He is high functioning, but socially awkward. He is very smart.

I was recently diagnosed with cancer and I started treatment on January 10, 2025, and before that, I had been diagnosed with 4 different autoimmune diseases. It has just been my son and myself for a long time, and I have overprotected him. With this cancer diagnoses, I need for him to become more independent and more sociable. He has taken many steps and have grown in the last few years. He took the driver's ed course and passed. He also took his permit test twice and had no problem passing them both time. He desperately needs road time, highway and night-time driving time. As much as he can get, so I am doing this Gofundme again to raise money for that. I tried to teach him and it just did not work.

My cancer treatment has been very difficult and stressful. I have little to no energy and its hard to focus. Also, dealing with the effects of chemo and all the other cancer drugs.

I have to do this, along with many other things to get him to be self-sufficient, independent, and out of his room. He is a smart young man. He is in counseling. He is also in a program to help him find a job that is suitable for him.

Any amount will help. He is presently enrolled at Next Street Driving School, where he took the course initially. He has taken a few driving lessons, and he is improving, but he is going to need many more driving/on the road lessons

I also want to get him a car. Nothing fancy. A car that is mechanically sound, low mileage, no accidents, and clean.
