Baby Jaxon

Katelyn and Josh Smiley are currently at Ruby Memorial Hospital with baby Jaxon, who is in the PICU on life support. Jaxon suffers from meconium aspiration syndrome, which occured at birth.  He was rushed to Ruby for treatment. He is receiving ECMO, which is a procedure that is filtering his blood out of his body to receive oxygen, giving his lungs a chance to rest. He is also receiving hemodialysis, which is removing the excessive fluid that has been accumulating.
             Any donations to Katelyn and Josh could be used for medical bills, transportation costs, and anything else the family may need during this difficult time. At this point, neither Katelyn or Josh are able to work, due to the need to be present for baby Jaxon during this very critical time. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
