It has been over 2 years since Trent’s accident when he hit a telephone pole & got out of the car to do what Trent is always doing, thinking of others & tried to wave down oncoming traffic to warn them of the downed pole. As he headed to help, he stepped on a live wire from the telephone pole & was electrocuted & went into cardiac arrest. This led to Trent suffering an Anoxic Brain injury.
After months in acute and then skilled nursing facilities, Suzanne brought Trent home to continue recovery & home therapy. In September, Trent went for an expert evaluation at Shirley Ryan Ability Labs in Chicago and was accepted into a four week program to receive rehabilitation and therapy from this top hospital. We are so thankful for this opportunity for Trent & hopeful for the progress he will make there!
Let’s help Trent & his family to afford the travel, the program and the financial burden while Suzanne is away from home & work during her stay with Trent in Chicago.
Trent & his family appreciate all of the love, support & prayers on this continued journey ahead! #Trentstrong ♥️
