Justine's cancer journey and benefit

The Backstory:
Justine started developing stomach pains and diarrhea last June. She has a history of severe gluten intolerance and thought it was an accidental gluten exposure. Over the next several months, symptoms progressed and diarrhea became severe. Justine was referred to gastroenterology and had a endoscopy and colonoscopy to assess her GI tract. Justine was diagnosed with rectal cancer. The GI docs state the tumor is large. She had a CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis same day to check for metastasis and luckily it was negative. She also had a CT scan of her chest for distant metastasis, also negative and MRI of the pelvis to assess the tumor location. Justine is going to require intensive treatment over the next year, starting with chemotherapy and radiation therapy, then surgically removing the tumor. This will require two surgeries, and a weeks stay in the hospital. Once discharged, she will have a 3 week recovery at home with a possibility of another round of radiation and chemo. She is also going to see a fertility specialist to discuss freezing her eggs because of the local radiation and the effects to her reproductive organs. Justine has a good prognosis, and is staying positive.
The Costs: This GoFundMe is to help raise funds for this year of treatment, medical bills, and lost wages.
