Juliet & Jeremiah Calulo-Lona Medical Support
Donation protected
Juliet Calulo-Lona and her son Jeremiah were attacked by 3 pitbulls on Friday, April 5, in Vallejo, CA (see news article). Juliet ran to the rescue of her son, covering him with all her might while the dogs continued their attack. Unfortunately they sustained major injuries as the dogs tore at their flesh and pulled their ears apart.
We are asking for medical support for both mother and son who are getting treated in UCSF Children's Hospital and North Bay Medical Center in CA. Juliet's insurance does not cover current and ongoing medical bills. The medical team has stabilized their condition, however it will take 6 months to 1 year to restore their ears and treat other injuries.
Juliet is a single mom, and in addition to having limited insurance coverage, the temporary loss of income will greatly impact her and her son's livelihood. Juliet needs to care for her son who will be in the hospital for a few weeks.
We are looking for your help as soon as possible. We are grateful to this community for your support and generosity. Thank you so much.
