Joy's Fight with Melanoma
July 14th changed Joy's life. She heard the words "You have cancer." It punched her in the stomach and she felt completely lost. The diagnosis is Melanoma, an aggressive, and rare form of skin cancer. Joy has just had her second surgery, this time on her stomach, and is waiting the results on the margins. The next proceedures are to check out a mass and lymphnodes inside her stomach in two weeks. Then has more external biopsies. Joy will continue to go to onocolgist appointments for 5 years every 4 months and dermatology every 3 months. Joy is considered to be stage 2 cancer. With all the travel back and forth to pittsburgh that Joy will have to take, and cover surgery cost that is not covered by insurance has been intense. Please help us raise money to support the Randall family in this very difficult time.
