Hi, my name is Josephine Faith. I am 3 years old and was just diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML for short). My mom originally took me to the doctors for an ear infection and after some abnormal bloodwork, I was brought to the hospital for more testing. After almost a week in the hospital and a sample of my bone marrow tested, they confirmed my prognosis. This is all so new to me, and my parents, (even a little scary) but we are learning and taking it one day at a time! I have an amazing support group of family and friends by my side. I know that I am a strong, tenacious, determined little girl who’s going to give it my all to fight and beat AML in the butt!
