Join Us in Supporting Young Nolan's Fight Against Cancer

Hello,

I am creating a GoFundMe for my nephew Nolan and his family in a battle with cancer over the next 8-12 months.

I think anyone would agree that there is nothing more important and precious than a child. This is your opportunity to significantly impact the life of a precious two year old boy battling cancer and to support his family. In September a mass was found on the back of my nephew Nolan’s neck, after many appointments it was surgically removed and biopsied. The oncologist confirmed it was cancer, specifically Ewing Sarcoma. This is a rare cancer mostly seen in adolescents and teenagers. With this knowledge the family quickly worked with the team of doctors in St. Louis to create a treatment plan that will last approximately eight months. This includes multiple surgeries and two rounds of chemotherapy, the first lasting 12 weeks and the second lasting 16 weeks.

Nolan’s mom, Jen is having to take unpaid leave from work to be with him during extended hospital stays and many trips to the hospital in St. Louis. Some of these stays after his chemotherapy treatments can last up to five days, depending on how he is responding to the treatment. His dad John is attempting to work during this very hard time and be a rock for his family. They have worked so hard in life to create this beautiful family and an amazing environment for Nolan to grow up in. We are hopeful and we will fight for them.

Everyone knows the costs of any medical treatments today can be extremely overwhelming for any family. Eight months of medical treatment can be absolutely daunting physically, mentally and financially. This is where you can help!
