The mission of the Joesph Floyd Manor Care Package project is to provide needed precautionary care packages for high risk senior citizens that inhabit the manor. The packages include: disposable masks, wash cloths and cleaning implement, disinfectant, water and healthy snacks, hand soap and sanitizer, immune boosters, and toilet paper. 

Joesph Floyd Manor is a low income retirement home located in downtown Charleston. Built in the 1950s, this building provides 156 units of affordable housing for 145 senior citizens with living conditions that are consistently substandard. Unfortunately, the manor has a history of health concerns and poor living conditions.

From bedbugs, rats and mice (and the feces left from them) lack of central air and heat, unclean water supply, and caving roof, the residents of Joesph Floyd Manor are constantly at risk not only due to their age and medical conditions, but also due to the state of their home.
