Help for Briggs

8 month old Briggs and his parents were involved in a multiple vehicle traffic accident Christmas Night. Briggs was originally determined to be okay by the on scene paramedics and was sent home.
Minutes after arriving home Briggs showed signs of his unseen injury and was rushed to the emergency room. Doctors determined he had bleeding and swelling on his brain. Briggs was flown by a medical helicopter in critical condition to Primary Children's Medical Hospital
Since Christmas Briggs has had surgery to relieve the pressure on his brain. Briggs has been unable to eat since Christmas and continues to vomit even with an empty stomach. Briggs had a feeding tube placed and has required daily scans, X-rays, MRI's and around the clock care.
Briggs continues to impress his family by showing strength and courage through it all, while trying to comfort his parents with his smile. Briggs remains in the hospital and Doctors have informed the family that Briggs injury is going to require long term treatment and will require multiple visits over the next several years.
These are photos of Briggs with his parents before the accident. They show a happy, healthy Briggs with his parents who love him deeply.
Briggs has a long road on his recovery but he was blessed with a hard working father and a mother who has sacrificed her job to stay with Briggs. Briggs parents count their blessings but have already received calls asking them to pay for Briggs medical care.
We are humbly asking for help for this family in need and trying to ease the financial burden so they can solely focus on Briggs recovery.
