Bringing Jessica Home: Help With Funeral and Travel Costs
Hi, my name is Jason, and I’m reaching out on behalf of Laurie Follett and our family during a time of unimaginable heartbreak.
Over the weekend, Laurie’s only daughter, Jessica Follett, was tragically taken from us in a devastating hit-and-run accident on Highway 89 in Ontario. Jessica was just 35 years old. She leaves behind five beautiful children, countless loved ones, and a grieving community.
Jessica grew up in Mundy Pond. She moved to Ontario nine years ago, with time spent in Stephenville before settling back in Ontario. Jessica was known for her kind heart, her love of music and crafts, and her passion for thrift shopping. Her grandmother lovingly described her as “the friendliest person you’d ever meet”, someone who never judged and treated everyone with warmth and kindness. She truly was a social butterfly.
We are raising funds to bring Jessica home to Newfoundland so she can be laid to rest near her family. The money will go toward transportation costs, funeral expenses, and helping her loved ones through this painful time.
