Jeff Gillis - Fighting Non Curable Myeloma Blood Cancer

Dear, friends, family & public.

With a very heavy & saddened heart I am creating this go fund me page to help my step father Jeff Gillis throughout his battle with aggressive terminal multiple myeloma blood cancer. Jeff has unfortunately been bed ridden for the past 2 months & is set to start his treatment program next week in Kelowna, BC. Jeff has been un able to work for the past 3 months & will unfortunately be off work for a minimum of 1 year, if not Indefinitely. We have set up in-house nursing care for Jeff & the medical bills are starting to roll in and add up day by day. My mother Jacquline has been working relentlessly to help Jeff with his day to day life & has been over-exhausted & overwhelmed with upcoming financial stress as she is not able to work during this time so that she is able to be by Jeff's side 24/7. Jacquline & Jeff are currently selling their home in kaslo & are down sizing to a smaller home/property.

The funds being raised will be used to help pay medical bills for Jeff & to help him & my mother Jacquline in their day to day life for the next 12 months while Jeff battles through his leukaemia treatment.

Amidst the uncertainty, there is still hope & we appreciate all of the support & prayers from every single person supporting Jeff & our family. This medical event was extremely unexpected & it has been very tough for our family to navigate through, but we are all staying strong & staying together through this battle that Jeff has

in-front of him.

My name is Lucas, I am Jeff's step son & fishing partner. Jeff married my mother Jacquline in 2012 & they have been happily married ever since. Jeff has a son, named Matthew, a step daughter named Natalie, a step daughter named Christal & another step son named Kevin.

Jeff's mother Evelyn is still with us & is residing on Vancouver island with Jeff's sister Lynn. From all of the immediate family, extended family & friends, we thank you sooo much & we all appreciate the love, prayers, text messages/phone calls & overwhelming support.
