We are heartbroken to share the passing of an incredible man, Jaypee Manuel, who left us far too soon on April 18, 2026, in his hometown of Bacolod, Negros Occidental, Philippines.
Jaypee was more than a father—he was a best friend, a guiding light, and the kind of person who left a lasting impact on everyone he met. He gave everything to his family, shaping who they are today through his love, strength, and generosity. The world feels profoundly different without him, and his loss is deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
As his family navigates this unimaginable grief, they are also facing the financial burden of arrangements across countries. Services are being held in Bacolod, followed by his cremation, with the hope of bringing him back to Canada to be laid to rest and honored again with a memorial service at home.
This fundraiser has been created to help ease those costs and support the family during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution—no matter the size—will go directly toward funeral expenses, travel, and memorial arrangements, allowing the family to focus on being together and honoring Jaypee’s life.
If you are unable to donate, sharing this page and keeping the family in your thoughts means so much. Please also take this as a reminder to hold your loved ones close and tell them you love them whenever you can.
Thank you for your compassion, support, and kindness.
