Jaymeson's Support Fund

At ten months old, Jaymeson was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis Type 1 or NF1. The diagnosis of NF1 required us to visit University of Iowa Hospital once a year to monitor Jaymeson and his NF1. At Jaymeson's last check-up, the awesome doctors we work with were concerned and scheduled a few more tests. The results of the tests showed that Jaymeson has a brain tumor, regardless if the tumor is benign, the tumor is inoperable due to its location. Chemotherapy is our only source of treatment and without chemo, the tumor will continue to grow and sadly, Jaymeson would suffer numerous additional health complications. Jaymeson will go through two procedures at U of I Hospitals and then in January he will start chemotherapy. As of right now, barring no new information, he will receive treatment in Iowa City for one day, every week for approximately 56 weeks.
