Jason's Cast Bivalve

My son Jason had an achilles tendon lengthening surgery at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto on December 18th 2024.

On January 16th 2025 he has to go for what is called a cast Bivalve at Holland Bloorview Rehab Hospital. It's where they take his current cast off, (in two pieces), then they take a mold on his lower leg and foot for his AFO brace. Then they attach Velcro straps to the current cast so that he can continue wearing it for another 2 weeks until his AFO is ready.

I have attached a photo of the quote for the procedure from Holland Bloorview Rehab Hospital. We are hoping to raise even a little bit to be able to put towards this being done.

I'm currently unable to work as I am taking care of Jason, he is out of school until mid February while he heals & we find a safety plan to ensure he is safe at school and has all the support he will need.
