Honoring Jason – Seeking Support After a Heartbreaking Loss

Dear friends,

My name is Olga, and with a heavy heart, I’m reaching out during the most painful time of my life. On Wednesday, April 30th, 2025, my beloved husband passed away suddenly at just 47 years old. He was my partner, my best friend, and a loving father and son. His unexpected passing has left an unimaginable void in our lives, and the grief we feel is beyond words.

Jason was fun, loving, and caring—always putting others' needs ahead of his own. He had a passion for life and lived it to the fullest. He made everyone around him laugh, bringing light into every room he entered. He loved animals, respected nature, and truly appreciated the beauty in everything. That deep appreciation for life and those around him made him the incredible person we all loved so dearly.

He was visiting from the United States when this tragedy occurred, and because he did not have Canadian health coverage, we are now facing staggering hospital bills—on top of funeral expenses and the heartbreak of our loss.

In the midst of mourning, we’re also trying to cope with the financial strain that has come so suddenly. We are hoping to raise $30,000 to help cover these urgent costs. Every donation, no matter the size, means the world to us and will go directly toward easing this burden.
