James is running not 1 but 2 events on behalf of The Oliver Fisher Special Care Baby Trust. Including his first ever Marathon! #TEAMOLIVER

This cause is especially close to our hearts after our Daughter, Blair received their expert care after her Birth in February. We are so lucky to have such an incredible service for our children and James is hoping to raise money to aid them with this.

His first event will be the Vitality 10k in London on his Birthday, 28th September! (Join us for a pint after to celebrate)

He will then be running his first ever Marathon in Brighton on April 12th 2026!

This is a huge undertaking and his training is well underway! ‍He is very excited (albeit a bit nervous too) to be able to do this for such an incredible cause and I couldn’t be more proud!

When Blair was born, after a difficult entrance to the world, she was admitted to The Oliver Fisher Special Care Baby Unit at Medway Hospital due to high Jaundice Levels and Infection. Because of this, she lost 11% of her birth weight in the first 2 days of her life. She had to undergo 36 hours of Phototherapy treatment, intravenous antibiotics and had dangerously high sodium levels which had to be monitored closely. It was such a hard and emotional week for us all but knowing that she was being cared for by the very best made it more bearable. We are very grateful to The Oliver Fisher Unit.

James has been the most wonderful Dad from the moment we knew of Blair’s existence! He is the pillar of strength for us during challenging times and brings all the joy for the rest! Blair is so lucky to have him as her Dad and we will be his biggest cheerleaders during his running!

The day that we left Hospital with Blair was one of the best feelings in the world! James of course had to have ‘The Dad in the hospital corridor’ photo as we left, marking the momentous occasion!

If you can support James with any donation it will make a huge difference for The Oliver Fisher Trust and allow them to continue helping poorly babies! No donation is too small! Please share his mission with your friends and family and come along to the upcoming events to cheer him on!!! #TeamOliver !!!

From James-
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
This is a massive challenge and I can’t wait to give it my all and hopefully raise a lot of money for The Oliver Fisher Trust.
