Not even a week after Thanksgiving, James Berger went into emergency surgery where a double bypass was required to preserve his life.
Unfortunately, James does not have any paid medical leave or short term disability. James' wife, Dana, has dedicated her life to helping others, especially youth, in the Lincoln Nebraska area. The Berger family are facing challenges during this Christmas season including financial strains in the form of medical bills and the inability for James to work for an extended period as he recovers.
