Jack Raleigh Funeral Cost and Family Expenses

Jack Raleigh died suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, August 15, 2020. He was the loving husband to his wife Bobbie Jo, devoted father to their four grown children Jacob, Jacqueline, Jesse and Jeff, and servant son to Jack's mom, Sharon, who lives in the household. Jack was a hardworking man who wouldn't hestitate to drop what he was doing to help someone else in need as many of his friends and neighbors can attest.
Sadly, Jack did not have life insurance and is the primary wage earner for Bobbie Jo and his mother.
Bobbie Jo is an active member of the North Beach VFD, where she rides the ambulance as an EMT and provideds fire safety public education messaging to the community. If you live in the North Beach-Chesapeake Beach area, you may have seen her on the ambulance or delivering fire safety information to the school children.
Jack's and Bobbie Jo's youngest son, Jeff, also a member of the NBVFD, is currently on military leave, serving in the U.S. Army. He is on his way home from his latest post, where he was finishing up training before going overseas.
Jack was known to be an excellent heavy equipment operator and waterman. Bobbie Jo and the kids were his constant companions as he spent his off time on the water providing extra money to the household through their small crabbing business. Jesse intends to continue the family tradition when the family gets through this very difficult time.
The funds requested are needed immediately. They will be going to funeral and burial expenses. Any funds received over the goal will be given directly to Bobbie Jo to help her make the mortgage and other bills.
The North Beach Volunteer Fire Department Inc. will be managing the fund and assisting the family as needed.
