Hello,
As some of you may not know I got into a very dangerous car accident. I was sitting passenger seat as I got T-bone right on my side by an under age driver. They didn’t have their license or even insurance and was driving a car from out of state.
With in this car accident I have many short-term and long-term injuries. I tore my rotator cuff. I have severe pain in my neck and my back that I need constant care from chiropractors appointments, along with head injury. I have a really horrible concussion that has caused me to lose control of my right eye. With my eye not working I’ve had so many limitations to light, noise, headaches, my life has changed so fast within seconds of the crash. I’ve been attending PT, OT, chiropractic care and therapy for my whole care and it’s been on going for weeks now. Not only has the accident completely taken me out of my job, I have not been able to return back to Rugby, Motherhood has been very challenging and I am not able to get a lot of the care I would be able to get if the person had insurance. My bills are already reaching $8500+ just in care already.
My community has always been able to uplift me in a lot of the spaces that I have faced in my life and so I’m just asking for some help so I can take care of the medical bills along with being able to afford accommodations for when I do start working again along with therapy glasses, I am recommended to wear but insurance does not want to cover these things, and I’m unable to do a lot in life without continuous care and getting these things things.
