Please help Mikoda with her surgery

Hello all,

While chasing her ball, my beautiful 4 year old Lab mix, Mikoda, tore the ligament in her right knee.   She is unable to bear any weight on her leg, and her pain is quite extreme at times.  She has gone from jumping around and chasing her ball to not being able to get up on the couch or bed, or even walk around as she usually would.

Unfortunately, she will need surgery to repair the torn ligament. Without this surgery, she will be unable to live her life without pain, and she will quickly develop arthritis in her joint; she will also begin to have painful problems in her other hind leg, as her body will naturally overcompensate.  She is still so young, and she should not have to live her life in pain.

Mikoda was adopted as a rescue, and I have always taken the best of care of her.  When she was young, she regularly accompanied me in my work with Kids living with Autism Spectrum Disorders, and just by being her, by being present, she changed so many lives... Please help me change hers!

Please help me get Mikoda back to her comfortable, active life on all four feet!  She has been my best friend through thick and thin, she's made so many people smile and laugh, and she has so many more years to run and jump just as she loves to do!  She is my kiddo, my world!

I do not like asking for help, but I am unable to come up with the amount needed for her surgery.  Anything counts  - even a few dollars, even a share.  Please help me, help her!
