Dearest friends, the Atlanta cosplay/gaming community has lost a treasure. On October 9th 2025 in the early hours of the morning, Seth Lockhart was found unresponsive. He was well known for sitting on panels at many conventions, helping organize many events, and his enthusiasm for his cosplays. He was a loving, genuinely kind, and empathetic soul. With this fundraiser I'm hoping to take some of the weight off of Amber's (his other half for over 11 years) shoulders as funeral costs and other bills inevitably start to build up. Below is the announcement that Amber posted about his passing. Any support or kind words you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

"I don’t know how else to make this announcement. Even more, I don't know how to go on.

Shortly after 5am this morning, we lost my greatest love, Seth Lockhart.

He hadn’t been feeling well for the last three days, and so he was sleeping on the couch last night with the promise that he’d see the doctor the next day … When I checked him this morning around 6:45am, he was already gone, though I called 911 and conducted cpr for about 20 minutes.

I know so many of you, like me, were so close to him. Right now, we ask for privacy while we try to understand what happened … and I’m genuinely sorry that this is the best way I know to report on the tragedy that’s befallen us.

Just know I loved him with all my heart. Just know that I always will.
