In Loving Memory of My Dad, Rigo Nava: A Request for Support After His Battle with Cancer
I’m starting this by saying I’m most definately in a state of shock and devastation from the loss of my father, Rigoberto Nava.
I’ll start from the beginning. My father was born on May 3rd, 1962, in Tijuana, Mexico. He came to the United States at three months old, brought by father Jesus Nava from Zacatecas, Mexico and mother Guadalape Yanez, from Tepic, Nayarit. He was also survived by his brother Albert Nava and sisters Elvia and Cindy Nava.
My dad grew up in National City. Then moved to Chula Vista. He had four children with his first wife Sandra Juarez, I, Sandra Nava the eldest, and my three brothers Rigo, Ricky and Ray Nava. With his second wife, Christina Rivera, he had his daughter Monique and son Vincent Nava.
For those who knew my dad, we will never forget his infectious laugh and smile. He was so cool, smooth, and especially funny.
At this time, we are faced with the financial burden from the hospital bills and our future funeral expenses. I hope and pray that friends and family and even hopefully strangers will find it in their hearts to donate to this go fund me that will be strictly used for this cause. With much love, hope, respect and faith, thank you! God bless your family, life and future endeavors. Spend time with your family and friends At the end, nothing else matters. Life is so short, let’s get along and forgive. Please keep the Nava Family in your prayers.
Sincerely, Sandra Nava and family
