It is with completely broken hearts that we are asking our family, friends, and community to come together after the sudden and devastating loss of our beloved Ochard, who tragically drowned at the Cove yesterday at just 21 years old.

There are truly no words that can describe the pain of losing someone so young, with an entire life still ahead of him.

Ochard was an incredible young man who meant so much to so many people. He was a talented and passionate soccer player, a dedicated brother, a loving son, and a devoted boyfriend. He was known for always having a smile on his face and bringing such a positive energy wherever he went. If you knew Ochard, you knew that smile.

He leaves behind his loving girlfriend, Myah, his father, Kevin, his mother, Shauna, his stepmother, Shanty, and his siblings, Oshane, Jemario, Ashley, Rennay, Jemmoy, and Shalice. He also leaves behind extended family, friends, teammates, and so many others whose lives he touched.

At only 21 years old, no family could ever be prepared to say goodbye to their son, brother, boyfriend, teammate, and friend.

We have created this GoFundMe with a goal of $30,000 to help Ochard’s family with his funeral expenses and the unexpected costs that come with laying their loved one to rest. During a time when his family should be able to focus on grieving and supporting one another, we hope to ease as much of the financial burden as possible.

We are asking our community to please come together for Ochard and his family. No donation is too small. Every contribution brings his family one step closer to being able to give him the beautiful farewell he deserves.
